20 reported dead, 354K people affected due to Jolina -NDRRMC

Twenty people were reported dead and above 354,000 people were affected by Tropical Storm Jolina, the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (NDRRMC) said.

In its situational report on Friday, the NDRRMC said of the 20 reported casualties, three were confirmed while 17 are still being validated.

Thirty three (33) persons were reportedly injured while four were missing.

A total of 354,613 persons or 90,835 families were affected in 1,594 barangays in Region 3, CALABARZON, MIMAROPA, Region 5, Region 6, Region 8, Region 12 and NCR.

As of Friday, there were 4,808 displaced persons or 1,333 displaced families inside 100 evacuation centers in the said regions.

There were 18,589 displaced persons or 4,509 displaced families outside of evacuation centers in the said regions. -MDM, GMA News
