Senator Panfilo Lacson on Monday is asking for clarification on self-quarantine protocols for close contacts of COVID-19 patients.
On Twitter, Lacson was puzzled over the advice of a medical staff that he must finish his 14-day quarantine despite testing negative for SARS-CoV-2, the virus that causes COVID-19.
Somebody please clarify existing health protocols. I tested NEGATIVE for Covid this afternoon after getting exposed in a staff meeting last Tuesday. I don’t understand why our Senate medical team says I still have to continue my self-quarantine for 8 more days.
